KB Compliance was founded by a young professional who has worked the waterways, channels, and coastlines of the Gulf — and saw firsthand what a specialized, accountable firm could do that larger generalist companies couldn't.

KB Compliance, LLC was founded with a clear purpose: to provide Gulf Coast clients with a marine services firm that combines the technical depth of a large engineering company with the responsiveness and accountability of a dedicated specialist. We are not a generalist firm that dabbles in marine work — this is all we do, and we do it exceptionally well.
Our work spans the full breadth of coastal and marine project support — from hydrographic surveys of active navigation channels to high-accuracy UAV mapping of sensitive wetland environments, environmental compliance support for complex permitting processes, and independent quality control oversight on major marine construction contracts.
What sets KB Compliance apart is our ability to mobilize quickly, adapt to changing project conditions, and deliver certified, defensible data and documentation that clients and regulators can rely on. We operate lean by design — every engagement gets senior-level attention, not junior staff.

Kyle Betz
Founder & Principal, KB Compliance, LLC
Kyle Betz brings hands-on Gulf Coast marine experience to every KB Compliance engagement. With experience in land and hydrographic surveying, USACE project management, and environmental compliance, he founded KB Compliance to fill a gap he saw repeatedly in the market: clients who needed specialized, senior-level marine expertise without the overhead and slow response times of large firms.
His career has taken him across the Gulf Coast — from the channels and harbors of Louisiana and Florida to the waterways of Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas. When you work with KB Compliance, you work directly with Kyle. No layers of project managers. No hand-offs to junior staff. Just direct access to the expertise you're paying for.
